Biography

Xu Boyang, MD, graduated in 2014 from the eight-year Clinical Medicine program at Peking Union Medical College and works at the Breast Plastic Surgery Center of the Plastic Surgery Hospital. In 2017, he received the Third Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award for “Minimally Invasive and Refined Repair of Breast Defects After Mastectomy” (Professor Luan Jie’s team). He is engaged in clinical and research work in breast plastic and aesthetic surgery. His main areas include the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in breast plastic surgery, 3D digital technology-assisted research on breast morphology, research on breast aesthetics and psychology, and hardware and software simulation for endoscopic-assisted techniques. He has authored and published articles in relevant journals.
Areas of expertise:
1. Breast aesthetic surgery: prosthetic breast augmentation, autologous fat breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, and gynecomastia correction;
2. Minimally invasive breast plastic surgery: breast mass excision, removal of breast foreign bodies, and removal of injected “Aomeiding” material from the breast;
3. Repair of breast defects and deformities: repair and reconstruction of various congenital/acquired breast defects;
4. Facial aesthetic surgery: double eyelid surgery, medial epicanthoplasty, eye bag removal, brow excision/lift, and other aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures of the eye area;
5. Liposuction and body contouring surgery for various body areas.
